We recently held our daughter’s wedding shower in the Terrace Room of the Flanders Hotel. We could not be more pleased with the overall experience at this venue. Molly and Lisa were great to work with figuring out all of the logistics. They allowed us to come in a few times to check out the room, and they even had a vast supply of items we could borrow for centerpieces, etc. On the day of the shower, Wil and Chelsea did a great job coordinating the timing of food, serving us our delicious meal, and paying attention to the smallest of details. We had a lovely experience and recommend the Flanders to host your next event.

I'd like to give a big shout-out to the wonderful Parking Attendant at the Flanders named "Buddy". I dropped my keys today and couldn't find the keys after several attempts retracing my steps. After leaving the parking lot, Buddy called my wife and I while we were in route to another destination to say he found the lost keys. Due to the kindness reflected in this man, after taking the time and going out of his way to locate the keys which were thought lost is worthy of acknowledgment and praise. So we went to the Flanders Hotel this July and stayed in the Penthouse Suite. We had previously stayed on the Promenade in years past. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the Penthouse Suite and the hotel overall. It was not like it used to be and there have been several changes. First, you can no longer park in the lot adjacent to the hotel. I guess they sold it and reserved parking is no longer an option. Not really a deal breaker, but it was nice in years past. Now you park across the street. Instead of a pleasant greeting when we arrived, the front desk was much more concerned with what credit card I would be using to tender my balance. The beds in the suite are supposed to be Queen, but they are not. Full at best. The rooms are dated and could use updating. The sound coming from the bathroom in the Master bedroom is God awful and sounds like a fan is running all night long. There was water damage to the ceiling in the master bedroom. The Penthouse was much smaller than the Promenade rooms, which surprised me and were not nearly as nice in my opinion. We were out of the room by 10:00 AM each day, returning after 3:00 PM yet we received NO housekeeping during our 4 day/3 night stay. For the price that I paid, I had higher expectations. I don't think we will be returning.

Blast from the past being here. Always wanted to stay at the Flanders since I was a kid. Convenient to the beach, room was awesome and the restaurant was famtastic

CAN NOT recommend this hotel. It was very hot (no AC). For a wedding venue, it was very dirty. They did not clean prior to the reception. We saw old food (bread sticks) and paper and plastic wrappers in the reception cocktail areas. There was even an old flower with pins left on the furniture. The servers were mostly rude, and our food was delivered late and cold. When I asked a server for more water she just looked at me and said no. Windows in mens room held open with old towels. Way over priced for an old dirty hot hotel.

We stayed at one of their top level suites. The rooms were nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable and clean. The balcony view of the ocean was beautiful. The suites are privately owned and rented out by management. Unfortunately Ocean City has become a magnet for large groups of loud unpleasant teenagers that dominate the boardwalk. Check Youtube for recent news reports. Unless city officials do something to counter this trend, Ocean City will lose its safe family orientated status. I would book the Flanders again but pre or post season to avoid the problems.

Beach day
Loved the Flanders hotel. Rooms were nice for my wife and I and my daughter and her friends. Rooms were filled with games and amenities for the family. Rooms were clean and roomy.

I was hesitant to stay here because it looked "old" in the pictures, but let me tell you- IT WAS AMAZING! SO CLEAN, PERFECT LOCATION, HUGE room, and so much more! This amazing vacation spot will be an annual trip for our family!! We enjoyed every second!!!!
